MIKE HEDGES MS WELCOMES SWANSEA COUNCIL PLANS FOR DEALING WITH PARKING PROBLEMS IN TREGOF VILLAGE

MIKE HEDGES MS WELCOMES SWANSEA COUNCIL PLANS FOR DEALING WITH PARKING PROBLEMS IN TREGOF VILLAGE

Speaking from his Morriston Office, Local MS Mike Hedges said… ‘ I have been made aware by residents of the difficulties residents in Tregof face because of poor parking by people working in the Call Centres near their estate. I have seen video’s of busses getting stuck in streets because of double parked cars and of bin lorries unable to progress.

I therefore welcome the work done by the Llansamlet Councillors and the local community who have worked with the City  Council to develop proposals for new parking restrictions to deter parking in the areas.

People have until 26th June to comment and or object to the proposals – I would urge people to respond during this consultation period.

Responses to the consultation can be  made  to –

[email protected] by the 26th June 2020 quoting reference DVT- 00253002/AR
