Welsh Government supports Armed Forces Day 2012

Carl Sargeant, Minister with responsibility for the Armed Forces, Families and Veterans in Wales has called on Welsh communities to take part in and support events ahead of this year’s Armed Forces Day on 30 June.

This year the National Event is being held in Plymouth, but there are many more events up and down the country being held in support of Armed Forces Day. In Wales, the First Minister is attending this year’s day of celebration in Cooper’s Field, Cardiff while Carl Sargeant will be attending the North Wales Armed Forces Day Parade and celebration at Caernarfon Castle on 7 July.
